Demon Jack 27 — RTP, volatility and max win
Demon Jack 27 by Wazdan puts devils, demons and snakes on a compact grid with a wild and a double-or-nothing gamble. This hellish motif carries through the games in hell and devil slots; the overview of inferno slots gives the numbers for the whole range.

Deep in hell is where Wazdan sets Demon Jack 27: devils, demons, snakes and symbols of sin in red and black fill a small grid with a three-dimensional look. After any win you can gamble the amount to double it or lose it.
Demon Jack 27 came out on February 11, 2016 from Wazdan. The 3×3 grid is deliberately small: three reels, three rows and 27 ways, with no fixed lines. Alongside the devil and demons, the artwork brings in bells, birds, pyramids and snakes against a magic casino backdrop. Cautious test spins at €0.10 are possible, and so are big bets up to €100.
The game pairs high volatility with a max win smaller than most inferno slots offer, and inferno slots by volatility shows how other games at this level compare.
Game rules
Demon Jack 27 has no paylines in the classic sense. Every position on a reel connects to every position on the next reel, which gives the 3×3 grid exactly 27 ways. Matching symbols on adjacent reels pay regardless of the row they land in. The wild fills gaps in those chains, and only once a combination has been paid does the game offer the gamble.

Themes
The wild is the only special symbol on the reels of Demon Jack 27. Wazdan also lists substitution of winning symbols as a separate mechanic, which goes beyond a plain wild and can complete more combinations on such a small grid.
Versions of the gamble appear twice in the Wazdan feature list: a general gamble and the classic double-up game. The centrepiece is the double-or-nothing gamble. After a win you stake the amount you just landed: guess right and it doubles, and you can go again; guess wrong and it is gone. If you would rather keep it, you simply take the win. The three-dimensional graphics give the devil and demons some depth but change nothing in the rules.
RTP, max win & volatility
RTP 96.09%, higher than 62% of the 400 Inferno slots. Background: how RTP works on a slot. Volatility High, like 85 of the 180 slots in the Hell & devil theme. Background: what slot volatility means. Demon Jack 27 pays back 96.09%, enough for the upper half of the inferno catalogue. The ceiling is another story: 1,104× is modest, and only about 15% of the catalogue offers less.
Volatility is high, and the hit frequency stands at 10.28%. Wins arrive rarely, and because the cap is low, the gamble often decides how big a single hit ends up being.
Casinos do not always run this game at the same RTP level; RTP levels of inferno slots shows which inferno slots are offered at different levels too.
