Inferno Fireballs 2 from Fugaso puts a classic fruit machine inside an inferno: cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, grapes, watermelons and bells burn on a red background. Fireballs carrying cash values lock in place during the respins while the other spots spin again.
Inferno Fireballs 2 came out on July 25, 2024 as the sequel to Inferno Fireballs. The symbols are the familiar fruit of old slot machines, just with flames instead of chrome. Only 5 paylines cross the tiny 3×3 field, so every fireball stands out and the field fills up fast. The smallest bet is €0.10, the largest €15.
Game rules
The base game pays on fixed lines: matching fruit has to fill an active line from the left, and a three-by-three field leaves room for only a handful of the 5 paylines. Wilds fill in for missing fruit and can carry a multiplier that raises the line win. Fireballs do not pay on lines; they count by number on the grid and open the respin round once enough of them land.

Themes
Hold and win: the triggering fireballs stay put while every other spot spins again as respins. Each new fireball also locks and resets the respins, and the values are added up at the end. On such a small grid a full screen is much closer than on bigger slots.
Collector: a collector symbol draws energy from the fireballs that land and lifts the payout of the round.
Multiplier wilds: a wild with a multiplier boosts the win of the line it completes.
Bonus game: alongside the respins there is a separate bonus round.
Because the fireballs in Inferno Fireballs 2 quickly fill a grid of only nine spots, other inferno slots with hold and win make a useful comparison.
RTP, max win & volatility
RTP 96.1%. Background: how RTP works on a slot. Volatility High, like 85 of the 180 slots in the Hell & devil theme. Background: what slot volatility means. Max win 20,000× (€300,000 at the highest stake). Hit frequency 10.15%: roughly one spin in 10 wins.
Inferno Fireballs 2 reaches the upper third of the Inferno slots with an RTP of 96.1%.
A 20,000× cap is remarkable for a grid with only nine spots and ranks among the leaders in the collection. High volatility comes almost entirely from the fireball respins: only a grid packed with fireballs brings the big amounts.
Since Inferno Fireballs 2 has one of the highest max wins in the collection despite its small grid, its closest rivals are in the list of inferno slots ranked by max win.
