On a treasure island from Gaming Realms, Slingo Cascade puts pirates, barrels, gold and sand next to an angel and a devil, framed by the sea. Every win sets off a cascade, with the winning symbols vanishing and new ones dropping into their place.

Slingo Cascade came out on August 5, 2019 and pairs the Slingo idea with a treasure-hunting theme in blue and gold. Instead of the usual five-by-three reel set it uses a square 5×5 field that looks like a bingo card. A round costs at least €0.20 and at most €25, so the entry point is a little higher than on many penny slots while the upper end stays moderate.

Because Slingo Cascade keeps to medium volatility despite its cascades, the list of inferno slots by volatility puts it next to games at the same level.

Game rules

Slingo Cascade uses a 5×5 reel set. A win counts as soon as matching symbols form a paying combination on the field, and then the cascade kicks in: the winning symbols are removed, the rest slide down and fresh symbols fill the gaps. If the new picture holds another win, the chain carries on, so a single paid spin can bring several payouts. The chain only stops once nothing pays after the refill.

Themes

Cascades: after every win the winning symbols drop out and new ones slide in. The grid keeps its size; only its contents change until no combination is left.

Scatters: scatter symbols count wherever they land on the field. Land enough of them at once and the free spins begin.

Free spins: the cascades keep running during the free rounds, so every chain costs you nothing extra. This is where several cascades in a row can push the win of a single free spin up sharply.

Since every win in Slingo Cascade sets off a chain reaction, the inferno slots with cascading reels list more games where symbols drop in to replace winners.

Since scatters are what start the free spins of Slingo Cascade and the cascades keep running there, the inferno slots with free spins are the natural next comparison.

RTP, max win & volatility

RTP 95%. Background: how RTP works on a slot. Volatility Medium, like 54 of the 180 slots in the Hell & devil theme. Background: what slot volatility means. Max win 5,000× (€125,000 at the highest stake). Background: what max win means on a slot.

95% is the return, which places Slingo Cascade in the lower half of the Inferno slots.

For a medium-volatility game, a 5,000× cap is a strong figure, ahead of around 51% of the collection. The cascades let small hits link up into chains, so the game does not rely only on rare one-off wins.
