Demon Diamond — RTP, volatility and max win

Demon Diamond by Spinoro moves the demon theme into a jungle at night: jaguar, panther and chameleon share the reels with diamonds and card suits in blue and black. A nudge feature shifts reels by one position so a near miss can still turn into a win.

The 5×3 grid carries 10 paylines, so fixed lines rather than ways. The jungle opens at €0.10 per spin and peaks at €100, so small and large budgets both fit. Demon Diamond was released on January 15, 2022. Big cats, the demon and the diamond shape the symbol set, while hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs fill the low end of the paytable.

Medium volatility is rare among demon slots, so if you want titles with a similar balance to Demon Diamond, look through the inferno slots by volatility.

Wins only count on the 10 paylines: the same symbol must repeat along a line reel after reel, beginning with the first reel. A symbol just off the line pays nothing, and that is exactly where the nudge comes in. Each line pays its highest win, and wins on different lines add up. The stake of €0.10 to €100 covers all lines together.

The nudge is the signature of Demon Diamond: when a symbol stops one position away from where it is needed, the reel shifts by one and completes a win or pulls a scatter into view.

In Demon Diamond the bonus spins begin once the scatters show up. If they show up again during the round, you get additional free spins and the round runs longer. That extension is the route to the max win, because a long free spins round produces far more hits than a single pass.

Since the bonus round of Demon Diamond extends when scatters land again, it is worth comparing with other inferno slots with free spins.

RTP 94%. Background: how RTP works on a slot. Volatility Medium, like 23 of the 114 slots in the Demon theme. Background: what slot volatility means. Max win 5,476× (€547,600 at the highest stake). Background: what max win means on a slot.

Paying back 94%, Demon Diamond has one of the lowest returns among inferno slots. The max win looks better: around 61% of slots are capped lower. Medium volatility makes Demon Diamond an exception among demon slots, most of which run at high volatility.

Demon Diamond has one of the weakest RTPs in the collection, and the RTP comparison of inferno slots shows which games return more.
