Luck of the Devil: POWER COMBO — RTP, volatility and max win

Luck of the Devil: POWER COMBO by Microgaming crosses the classic fruit machine with the devil: cherries, lemons, grapes and plums sit next to bells, diamonds and coins, all in fiery red. At its heart sits the Hold & Win feature: bonus symbols lock in place and fixed jackpots are up for grabs.

Visually Luck of the Devil: POWER COMBO pairs the old fruit machine with a devil as its lucky charm. Fruit, bells and diamonds fill the reels, with coins rounding out the picture. On the 5×3 reels you get 40 paylines; a single spin costs anywhere between €0.20 and €20. Microgaming released the slot on January 5, 2024, and our data dates from June 17, 2026.

Each of the 40 paylines starts on the leftmost reel and crosses the full 5×3 field. A win needs enough matching symbols side by side on an active line; only the highest win per line pays, and wins on different lines are added together. Bonus and scatter symbols earn nothing on a line; their job is opening the special rounds. Symbol values are listed in the in-game paytable.

Scatter and bonus symbols are the keys to the features. The centrepiece is a link-win style hold and win round: bonus symbols stay in place while the remaining positions spin again, and every new bonus symbol keeps the round going.

Fixed jackpots wait in this round, with amounts set by the game rather than growing with other players' stakes. There is also a separate bonus game.

The bonus buy starts the bonus round straight away, without waiting for the trigger symbols.

Luck of the Devil: POWER COMBO locks its bonus symbols in a round where each new one earns extra spins, and inferno slots with hold and win collects other titles built on that mechanic.

RTP 96.2%, higher than 74% of the 400 Inferno slots. Background: how RTP works on a slot. Volatility High, like 85 of the 180 slots in the Hell & devil theme. Background: what slot volatility means. Max win 15,000× (€300,000 at the highest stake). Hit frequency 32.45%: roughly one spin in 3 wins.

Luck of the Devil: POWER COMBO returns 96.2%. With hits on 32.45% of spins, roughly one spin in three pays something, yet the high volatility still shows, because most line wins are small and the real money sits in the locked-symbol bonus.

Its ceiling of 15,000× outranks roughly 87% of the collection's caps. For a fruit slot, that is a lot of headroom.

Since not every casino runs Luck of the Devil: POWER COMBO at the same rate, titles like this one are flagged among the inferno slots ranked by RTP.
