Inferno Fruits — RTP, volatility and max win

Inferno Fruits by NetGame sets the classic fruit on fire: cherries, plums, oranges, strawberries, watermelons and the bell blaze against a dark backdrop. Wins are counted on ways rather than fixed lines, and you can buy straight into the free spins.

Inferno Fruits came out on May 24, 2021 and turns the fruit machine into a fiery version: the familiar symbols stay, while flames replace the plain backgrounds of the old cabinets. The burning fruit is spread over 5×3 positions and 243 ways, which gives the classic layout far more chances to hit than a line game. Bets go no lower than €0.20 and no higher than €20, a fairly down-to-earth range.

Since Inferno Fruits pairs high volatility with a fairly low max win, it is worth checking the volatility of inferno slots and the games at the same level.

In Inferno Fruits any run of matching symbols that starts on reel one and continues across neighbouring reels pays, whatever row they sit in. With 243 ways, a symbol just has to show up somewhere on each of the opening reels. The wild fills gaps in those runs. Scatters count outside the ways and open the free spins, which you can also start through the bonus buy.

Free spins: enough scatters start the free rounds, where a multiplier makes wins bigger than in the base game.

Multiplier: the multiplier boosts wins from the ways and is the main lever for getting close to the game's top payout.

Bonus buy: skip waiting for scatters and buy the free spins outright for a fixed price, which the game shows before you confirm.

Because Inferno Fruits lets you buy the free spins instead of waiting for scatters, the inferno slots with bonus buy are a good place to compare buy prices and bonus rounds.

As the multiplier in the free spins of Inferno Fruits delivers the biggest wins, the inferno slots with multipliers bring together more games with boosted hits.

RTP 96.2%, higher than 74% of the 400 Inferno slots. Background: how RTP works on a slot. Volatility High, like 85 of the 182 slots in the Fire & flame theme. Background: what slot volatility means. Max win 540× (€10,800 at the highest stake). Hit frequency 32.68%: roughly one spin in 3 wins.

Paying back 96.2%, Inferno Fruits ranks in the upper quarter of the Inferno slots.

Its 540× ceiling, by contrast, is low: just 5% of Inferno titles are capped smaller. That is an unusual mix for a high-volatility game: the swings are sharp, but they stop at a comparatively early ceiling.
