Hell Game by Apollo Games drops you into a red-hot hell: the devil in his hat, skulls, a treasure chest, stars and flames make up the symbols on five reels. Expanding symbols can spread over a whole reel, and after any win you can try to double the amount in the gamble game.
The theme is pure hell and devilry: a devil in a hat, grinning skulls, a treasure chest and stars against red fire. Five reels of three rows form the 5×3 grid, and it pays across 5 paylines. With a €0.10 minimum and a €50 maximum, it suits small and mid-sized budgets. Apollo Games released Hell Game on March 15, 2019, and the figures were last checked against the source on June 17, 2026.
Game rules
The 5×3 grid carries 5 paylines. A payout needs matching symbols next to each other on a line, and with so few lines the combination has to sit exactly on one of them. The wild steps into a line and fills the gap between matching symbols. When an expanding symbol grows over its whole reel, it covers all three rows and can serve several lines at once. The payout comes down to the symbol and to the stake you chose in that range, €0.10 to €50.

The heart of Hell Game is its expanding symbols: they grow over their reel and fill an entire column, which adds extra hits on the narrow line set. A multiplier boosts selected wins. After every win the gamble game lets you bank the amount or go for double; guess wrong and it is gone. The game history lists your recent rounds with stake and result, so you can trace your play at any time.
Since Hell Game fills whole reels with expanding symbols, the inferno slots with expanding symbols come next for comparison.
RTP, max win & volatility
RTP 92%, lower than 98% of the 400 Inferno slots. Background: how RTP works on a slot. Volatility Medium, like 54 of the 180 slots in the Hell & devil theme. Background: what slot volatility means. Max win 500× (€25,000 at the highest stake). Background: what max win means on a slot.
At 92%, Hell Game sits among the lowest-paying inferno slots, and the biggest prize, 500×, is modest too. Medium volatility gives a steady mix of smaller hits and quiet spells, and the gamble game is the only way to push individual wins higher on purpose.
Because Hell Game comes with an RTP range and even its published figure is low, the inferno slots ranked by RTP reveal which titles pay back noticeably more.
Note: Hell Game exists in several RTP versions.
