Fire Hot 100 — RTP, volatility and max win

Fire Hot 100 from Pragmatic Play sticks to classic fruit: cherries, lemons, plums, apples, bananas and watermelons share the reels with a bell and a clover; the fire is in the name, not in the symbols. Its core mechanic is expanding symbols, which stretch over a whole reel and so hit many lines at once on the wide line grid.

The theme of Fire Hot 100 follows old fruit machines: colourful fruit, a golden bell and the lucky clover, with no story or characters. There are 100 paylines on its 5×4 reels, far more lines than classic fruit slots usually have. Because of the high line count, the minimum bet is set relatively high at €1.00, and the highest bet is €100. The slot was released on August 29, 2022.

Fire Hot 100 pays on lines: the same fruit has to appear on consecutive reels, beginning with reel one, and every one of its 100 paylines is read that way. With four rows and this many lines, several lines run through every position, so a single high symbol often pays on several lines at once, and those wins are added up. Wilds fill gaps in a line, while scatters pay regardless of the lines, wherever they land.

Expanding symbols: a symbol can grow over the full reel, covering all four rows. Because a full reel is crossed by a large share of the lines, the bigger wins nearly always come from these expansions.

Wild: the wild completes fruit lines and works together with the expanded reels.

Scatter: scatters count wherever they land and sit outside the line evaluation.

In Fire Hot 100, expanding symbols decide almost every bigger win, because a full reel feeds many lines at once; titles with the same mechanic are listed under inferno slots with expanding symbols.

RTP 95.29%, lower than 71% of the 400 Inferno slots. Background: how RTP works on a slot. Volatility Medium-high, like 19 of the 108 slots in the Fruit theme. Background: what slot volatility means. Max win 2,700× (€270,000 at the highest stake). Background: what max win means on a slot.

The RTP of Fire Hot 100 is 95.29%. Volatility is medium-high, and the bigger wins come almost entirely from the expanding symbols. The cap of 2,700× is only reached when several full reels of high-paying fruit line up together.

Fire Hot 100 circulates at more than one return level, and the operator decides which one runs; the titles that also come with an RTP range are listed under inferno slots by RTP.
