A black and red hell full of bones, books and scrolls, presided over by a devil, is the setting Red Tiger chose for Devil's Number. Every win sets off a cascade: the winning symbols vanish, new ones drop in, and a single spin can string several hits together.
The look leans into darkness, with a black backdrop, red accents, bones, open books and scrolls surrounding the devil. The grid measures 5×4 and pays on 30 paylines, more lines than a classic five-reel, three-row slot. Cautious play at €0.20 and bigger bets up to €40 both fit the range. Red Tiger released the game on April 11, 2019.
Game rules
30 paylines are spread over the 5×4 grid. A line pays when matching symbols sit on it from the leftmost reel across adjacent reels. After each hit the avalanche mechanic clears the winning symbols, the rest slide down and fresh ones fall in from above. The lines are then checked again, and this repeats until no new combination forms. Only then does the spin end, and every hit in the chain is paid according to the bet you chose, from €0.20 to €40.

Alongside a wild and scatters, Devil's Number collects energy symbols, and that collection is the heart of the game: the more energy builds up, the stronger the effects on the reels become. Free spins add a multiplier that boosts wins during the bonus round. Since every hit there also triggers a fresh cascade, chain reactions, energy collection and the multiplier all feed into each other.
Since every win in Devil's Number sets off a chain reaction on the reels, the inferno slots with cascading reels make the obvious next stop.
RTP, max win & volatility
RTP 95.05%, lower than 76% of the 400 Inferno slots. Background: how RTP works on a slot. Volatility High, like 85 of the 180 slots in the Hell & devil theme. Background: what slot volatility means. Max win 2,520× (€100,800 at the highest stake). Background: what max win means on a slot.
Devil's Number returns 95.05%, which puts it behind most inferno slots. Its 2,520× ceiling also sits in the lower part of the field, with roughly 33% of titles capped lower. The high volatility fits a game whose bigger wins come mainly from long cascade chains during free spins.
Because casinos may run Devil's Number at different return levels and the listed figure is already on the low side, check the RTP of inferno slots before you play.
