Devil's Deal by Hot Rise Games lets you strike a bargain with the devil: in a red and orange underworld, gems, hearts, apples, clovers, sweets, a sword and a stopwatch fill the reels. Wins are paid on ways rather than lines, and the heart of the game is the hold and win bonus triggered by bonus icons.

The theme of Devil's Deal plays on the idea of a pact: the devil offers lucky charms such as clovers and gems, while the stopwatch reminds you that time for the deal is running out. 46,656 ways spread over the 6×6 grid. A spin is played for €0.30 up to €30. The slot was released on October 4, 2023.

Game rules

Devil's Deal pays on ways: the same symbol on adjacent reels, counted from the left, wins in any of the six rows. If a reel holds several matching symbols, the number of hits multiplies accordingly. Stacked symbols and mystery symbols, which all turn into the same symbol, can fill large parts of the grid at once. Bonus icons have no ways payout; their job is to unlock the respin bonus.

Themes

Hold and win: enough bonus icons start the respin round. Those icons stay in place, the other positions spin again, and multipliers can raise the values.

Mystery symbols and stacks: hidden symbols all reveal the same symbol, and stacked symbols cover whole sections of a reel.

Cheating the reels: in keeping with the devil's bargain, Devil's Deal has its own cheat mechanic that steps into the action.

Bonus game, scatters and bonus buy: scatters lead into a separate bonus game, and players who do not want to wait can buy the bonus directly.

On the grid of Devil's Deal, hits count in any of the six rows, and several matching symbols per reel multiply the wins; titles that also pay on ways rather than lines are listed under inferno slots with ways to win.
