18+ · Play responsiblyData sheet
Print Studios delivers Darkness as a horror slot from hell: demons, blood, knives and goblets emerge from deep darkness. In the base game a mega symbol can take up a whole three-by-three block, and in the free spins sticky wilds hold their position until the round ends.
The theme stays grim: demon faces, bloody blades and goblets on black, horror rather than fiery romance. Blood and knives fill the 5×4 reels, crossed by 26 paylines, and a spin costs €0.20 as a minimum, €50 as a maximum. If you want more bonus rounds, you can switch on the bonus bet or buy your way in. Darkness was released on October 19, 2023.
Game rules
A line pays once the same horror symbol repeats along it from the left, and 5×4 leaves room for 26 paylines. The mega symbol counts on every position it covers and can fill several lines at once. Wilds and randomly added wilds close gaps, while scatters count without a line and start the free spins.

Themes
Mega symbol: a large three-by-three symbol lands as a block on the reels and links several lines in one go.
Random wilds and multipliers: extra wilds are dropped onto the grid during play, and a random multiplier can boost a win.
Free spins: the bonus round opens on scatters, and in it wilds stick and stay in play for every spin that follows; multipliers lift the wins of the round.
Bonus bet and bonus buy: for a higher stake per spin the free spins trigger more often, or you buy them outright.
Because a higher stake in Darkness triggers the free spins more often, the game belongs with the inferno slots with a bonus bet.
RTP, max win & volatility

The biggest prize of 20,000× puts Darkness among the leaders, with around 92% of the collection capped lower. Volatility is medium-high: hits come regularly, but the big amounts almost only arrive when sticky wilds and multipliers line up in the free spins.
Versions of Darkness with their own return level run at different casinos, so the RTP of inferno slots is worth checking.
